Debbie reached a new low for me with this whole scenario. I can somewhat sympathize if you feel insecure about where you are in your life, as she tried to spin it in the conversation with Jay, but to constantly be emotionally manipulating your children because either with Mitchell she's not getting her way or with Claire, I believe she's even somewhat jealous of on some level because this is behavior Claire has said she's experienced her whole life no wonder she was the way she was as a young adult, if you have that type of person as a mom and an emotionally distant father which they've said Jay was even more so than now of course you're gonna act out to get attention. Also, if you divorce someone, again, I can understand being jealous if they've moved on, but the way Debbie acts is completely out of line. It's not like Jay cheated on her with Gloria while they were still married and left her for Gloria. You have no say in how long it takes for someone else to move on after a relationship is over.
