Nick, props. I’ve seen this a million times and never thought anything of the beers. But yeah who in the world would leave beers outside on a summer day? Perfect bait to know if the Allies had passed by. With the women, I think they were just desperate. Some chose to sleep with the Germans and likely ratted out members of the Dutch resistance. That’s why they were punished. And the dark haired one kissing the American, she was probably just so desperate that she is going to try and latch on to whatever army is in control over the town.

I felt the same way when I first watched it,… also I think the guy who ordered Martin to tap him when the light turned green had red/green color blindness.
