In my opinion this is a parenting fail for Claire. She keeps meddling in their kids lives because that is how she fulfills her need to be needed. Plus it feeds her control issues. I think the role of a parent is to work themselves out of being a parent. If what you're doing is helping your child rely more on you than on themselves then you need to stop what you are doing and try it in a different way, you're supposed to prepare your children for life, not live it for them! buying the sweater in secret was pushing the problem under the rug, not giving them the tolls and space to conflict solve between the two girls. But if Claire doesn't step in to meddle and problem solve her own way, then she won't feel like her life is fulfilling enough since being a stay at home parent is basically her only role but the kids are all grown now, so there is less to do in a way. It's tough and I do think she's doing it for them but I also think she's doing it for herself. So I agree with you guys, I wouldn't go around looking for the sweater but since she had already made that decision the Phil prob should've just agreed to make dinner on the call, this problem solve thing that guys seem to exhibit a lot of the times really comes across as "I know better than you" and yeah, sometimes you do, but how about the times you don't? So, maybe just help IF YOU ARE ASKED, okay, fellas everywhere? lol

Two year olds are usually bigger, more talkatuve and more active. I'd say one and a half or so but I don't know, it's just a guess.
