Sad fact, Lt. Jones never made it back home. He stayed in Europe until after the war, and died in surgery after a car accident.

2025-06-08 23:29:27 +0000 UTCThis documentary is actually what led to the creation of Band of Brothers -- they started working on it before (I think) the series was conceptualized as we know it now. Even though it was made first -- it's considered almost as canon 11th episode.

It’s on Max, “We Stand Alone Together - The Men of Easy Company.” 1 hr 20 mins, same producers, in depth interviews with the veterans we’ve seen at the beginning of each episode, some actual footage of them during the war, absolutely worth it.
