The Buffalo Bills went to four straight Super Bowls from 1990 to 1993. But rather than be remembered for that feat, they are instead remembered for losing each one of those final appearances.

My uncle was a 2nd round pick in 1970 as a tight end out of Ohio State (which is why my family are Buckeye fans). My uncle was one of the Super Sophs from Woody and Bo's rivalry. My uncle played very few snaps during his time there; in 1970 you weren't really catching a whole lot of snaps as a TE, you would be blocking. My uncle was a freak athlete and as a 76 year old is remarkably fit and runs everyday. Has had two knee replacements but you can't stop that man. So imagine our family being Bills fans (briefly, we followed them because of my uncle), going to school and hearing about loss after loss after loss. It was comical. I live in Pennsylvania and I root for Buffalo when they aren't playing the Steelers (Josh Allen continuously wrecking the Steelers not withstanding lol). I will always have a soft spot for the Bills. My uncle's name is Jan White. Still have his rookie card. He was 21 looking like he was 45 lol. It was wild.

I personally just love watching that absolutely gorgeous wide right kick gifting my Giants one of their 4 Lombardi Trophies 😅 With that said, I feel devastated for Norwood every time. Nicest guy ever

2025-07-02 06:36:55 +0000 UTCExcellent watch. This Eagles fan was rooting for Buffalo -- easy to do -- considering that the opponents were Washington, New York, and especially Dallas. The Bills have become my second favorite team . . . I hope that it happens for them, eventually.

2025-06-29 14:24:09 +0000 UTCI remember all four of these loses, I’m not even a Bills fan ( I’ve been a Cincinnati Bengals fan for over 35 years ) but I will always remember these because I felt bad for the players and the coaches. I hate that Jim Kelly never won a Super Bowl because he’s one of the greatest quarterbacks ever and deserved one. And even though they lost 4 straight, those Bills teams were really great.
