2025-07-14 02:54:12 +0000 UTCNow that you guys have been so immersed in American culture for a few years, I'm waiting for one of you to accidentally or casually use the word "dude" in conversation 😂 it's so ubiquitous here as a term of endearment or even to just make an otherwise serious conversation more informal that I'll use it when talking to prosecutors or even judges that I've got a great relationship with and barely notice. "Oh dude, this client is the BEST." If I get on really friendly terms with a client regardless of gender, they become dude and it always seems to lighten everything up. You'll surely notice this in Always Sunny, and it's the same listening to any American (or Australian/NZ even) podcast
