I think that HIMYM is a really great example of an unreliable narrator, which I've found interesting for a while, but I never put 2 and 2 together when it comes to his kids. That just blew my mind xD

One of my English teachers used how I met you mother as an example of an unreliable narrator because he’s telling a story and can forget details and doesn’t know everything of other people’s stories and can lie to make the e story sound better.
