Their latest ride has them bringing Gloria in tow as a translator, leaving Jay and Manny to look after Lily, who has a big dance recital coming up. Meanwhile, Claire and Phil have a proud parenting moment when they send Alex off to her first prom, but then that is quickly marred with Haley's shocking news of her future plans.

I love how this episode subverts their typical heartwearming approach and ends on a very real and tough moment. Although it does show how Cam and Mitch are there for each other.

2025-07-27 16:52:16 +0000 UTCI had to keep myself a few times from accidentally spoiling to you guys that Jay & Gloria were going to have another kid, but I'd actually totally forgotten it was set up in this episode, I thought there was going be another season inbetween. Though I guess Jay was getting on, so if they were ever going to do that storyline, they had no time to waste!
