Also, for all his faults, I do really love Michael and I understand why Pam does too. Especially ever since her art show episode way back early on where Michael was the only person to really go to her show and support and compliment her and actually bought her piece. He’s obviously still Michael at the end of the day and he’s still awful quite often, but that man does love Pam and has always cared about her

2025-08-03 01:08:45 +0000 UTCAt the end of the day, it's not important, so take this with a grain of salt: Speaking as an autistic young woman herself, I have always head-cannoned Erin as autistic ever since the episode where she had lunch with Michael. Like how she described “her hair as her room” in foster care and then proceeded to have a loud little meltdown covering herself in her hair when she got confused/stressed. She’s also talked a bit (possibly more in the Superfan episodes) about her struggles with getting adopted because of her personality, which makes me so sad but also a LOT more endearing to Michael in the Viewing party episode because of the way he immediately changes his dynamic with her once he realizes that she sees him as a dad. I think the more people pay attention to her, the more noticeable it is. For me, personally, it makes a lot of her quirks and humor make a ton more sense, and I love her so much!! Erin takes things so literally every time, I think my personal favorite might be “Get in quick!” “Why?” “So it’s faster” I’m so happy to see that you guys seem to have taken a liking to Erin because I do feel like it’s very hard for a new character to come into a well-established cast, but I think she does an excellent job with it and is easily one of my favorites
