Sky won an auction of mine back in Dec 2020 right as I was hitting my breaking point and I had to stop working for a very very long time, I just couldn't do it and the idea of failing and not delivering was eating me away everyday and I just spiraled down more and more.
We kept in contact over the years and I tried my best to reassure them I was going to pull thru but I was in a very dark place.
The current piece is very different from the original sketch and I had to keep changing it just to cope but now, now I am very proud of this piece, I love everything about it; feels like one of my greatest achievements 💜.
I am very moved by the immense amount of kindness Skylar showed me and the incredible patience with me throughout this process and I'm eternally grateful to all of you 'cause without your constant support I wouldn't have been able to keep going.
