Not that I want to get into a political discussion but I don't think there would be any problem with that story line. Obviously there has been federal overreach but I don't think that would be a concern.

2025-08-20 12:24:08 +0000 UTCI always enjoy belly-laughing along with you two. That was indeed Matthew 'Ferris Bueller' Broderick, quite a big get for a guest star. Given how puritanical the US has become again in recent years, and how much big corporations like ABC/Disney are bending the knee to their reactionary government, I sadly doubt the gay hookup mix-up storyline could be done in a mainstream family sitcom anymore nowadays. The lyrics Cam recited are from Tina Turner's 'Private Dancer'. Funny that your mind first went to Wyclef Jean's 'Perfect Gentleman' (which admittedly does have similar lyrics in the chorus). In the year 2025 that one seems far more forgotten and obscure to me than the Tina classic.
