I have so many issues with the constitutional violations in this episode as a lawyer practicing in NY, but it's Brooklyn Nine-Nine so I'll allow it π no probable cause for the arrest, so the "fruit of the poisonous tree" doctrine would apply. Any evidence obtained after an illegal arrest (one without probable cause) would be thrown out as inadmissible in court. Past criminal history absolutely does not on its face give probable cause for an arrest thanks to that whole presumption of innocence thing
