2025-09-02 04:47:12 +0000 UTCThe 50th Hunger Games was the one that Haymich won. For that edition they doubled the number of contestants to 48 instead of 24. Haymich is the only person from District 12 to win the games prior to Katniss and Peeta.

Best part of this is they came up with a really smart way with the quarter quell to run it back with them in the arena but not make it feel like a lazy retread.
