I forgot about everything except for how the aliens look until the movie started, and then it all came flooding back and i almost started crying ๐ this is a touching film for sure (my bad memory notwithstanding)

2025-10-17 12:36:06 +0000 UTCI definitely didn't catch the twist until the same line either, so you're not alone there. It's such a great movie to watch back a second time so see how it all slots into place once you *know* and how those flashback moments of Louise's have a whole different meaning to them. Kudos to Amy Adams for being able to pass off those expressions to fit both grief and confusion for the audience. I always get choked up at the end, I can't imagine knowing that as a parent. Then again time based movies can be a bit of a struggle bus in general for me, since it all depends on what version of sci-fi time rules you're going with; was she choosing that future or accepting it, because if it's in the future then it's all pre-determined anyway, so choice isn't in the equation. A N Y W AY ๐ ๐ ๐ I really enjoyed this one, thanks guys! ๐
