Think about it....what have we seen...Lady Melasondra (sp) has sex with Stannis... she is instantly pregnant and gives birth to the smoke/shadow creature that is described by Breanna as looking like Stannis...

2025-10-02 00:27:31 +0000 UTC-- Stormlands: At Renly's camp, he and Catelyn come to an agreement that the North can be free from the rest of the kingdom, basically ensuring that both Renly and Robb could rule independently. Suddenly, the smoke baby makes his appearance and murders Renly, and Catelyn and Brienne have to make a hasty exit quickly after. As they escape back to Robb's camp, they discuss their situations and Brienne ends up swearing loyalty to Catelyn. Loras and Margaery meet with Littlefinger - they know that Stannis is the one to blame, not Brienne. Margaery makes the statement that she wants to be *the* queen, and you can almost see the wheels in Littlefinger's brain start to turn. Elsewhere, Davos speaks to Stannis against the Red Woman, Melisandre, and it seems like Stannis finally starts to listen. "You won those men from Renly - don't lose them to her." -- King's Landing: Cersei and Tyrion talk strategy, but she won't give any details. Tyrion, however, is able to get the full story from his informant Lancel, who tells him Cersei has been meeting with the Alchemists and dabbling with Wildfire. Tyrion and Bronn wander the city and Tyrion is surpised to hear some of the common people's opinions on the royal family. I love him to death, but no one could accuse Tyrion of being in touch with what is going on with the average person. He's incredibly wealthy, and even though he's not as terrible of a person as the rest of his family, he's still super priviledged and disconnected from what most of us would consider to be "real life." I though it was so cute how offended he sounded when Bronn let him know that he was the "demon monkey" that guy was talking about though. -- Iron Islands: Theon is feeling undervalued and sorry for himself, which is a dangerous combination in his case. He and Dagmer come up with a quick and not well thought out plan to get some attention/recognition from his father by going to Torrhen's Square instead of the fishing villages that he's supposed to raid. -- Harrenhal: As Tywin's new cup-bearer, Arya gets to listen in on the Lannister war plans although at this point there's not anything she can do with this information. The interesting guy who always talks in the third person who was traveling to the wall with her also reappears, and tells her he'll take out 3 people of her choosing to make up for the 3 lives she saved. She picks the torturer as her first choice. -- North of the Wall: Jon and the other Night's Watch arrive at the Fist of the First Men, where they meet up with a ranger named Qhorin, also called "Halfhand" - he's pretty famous among the Night's Watch for spending long stretches of times (months and even years) north of the wall, tracking and fighting wildlings. I think the horn blast that you guys were confused about was the one they blew when they saw Qhorin coming to meet them. Jon asks to join Qhorin on a mission while Sam offers to take over Jon's steward duties, and seemingly Jon gets promoted to a Ranger mid-trek. -- King's Landing: Tyrion and Bronn meet with one of the alchemists and learn all about Wildfire. They also see the stores that Cersei has had them working on, and its enough to blow up all of King's Landing. Bronn is very skeptical that Wildfire can be of any real use during a war, but Tyrion seems intrigued, and gives the instructions to continue making more, but that it will now be under his instruction instead of Cersei's. -- Qarth: Dany is welcomed by the Qarthians, but there is definitely some conflict among her people as she seemingly sheds the old Dothraki ways in favor of more refined styles. Irri is her Dothraki handmaiden who insists on calling her Khaleesi, while Doreah is from the free cities and was bought from the pleasure house by Illyrio (originally for Viserys but was then "given" to Dany to teach her how to make Khal Drogo happy), so she's much more willing to adapt to a new way of life. The Warlocks introduce themselves to Daenerys, and Xaro says that their lips are purple because they drink something called "shade of the evening" which reminds me of when I was obsessed with this one particular wine and I drank it every night and it always made my lips this dark purple color .... ok, it was during the pandemic, I may have damaged my liver a bit, don't judge me guys. During this same party Jorah has a creepy conversation with a masked woman who knows apparently everything about him. -- Winterfell: Bran is growing extremely bored handling the daily matters that the Warden of the North has to deal with, listening to an older struggling farmer whose sons are all off fighting with Robb. He proves that he is wise beyond his years though, by agreeing to send a couple of orphan boys to help the farmer, when suddenly Ser Rodrik runs in and says that Torrhen's Square is under seige (everyone immediately assumes it is by some of the Lannister forces, of course.) Bran immediately tells Rodrik to gather 200 men and hurry over to help. -- Qarth: Xaro asks Daenerys her plans for the future, proposes to her, tells her Robert Baratheon is dead. She becomes convinced that with his money, she could buy armies and ships and sail to Westeros, but Jorah talks her down. He tells her that the allies she needs are is Westeros, and goes off to find her "a sound ship with a good captain" to take her home. -- Harrenhal: Arya starts imparting some of the wisdom of Syrio, her dancing master, to Gendry when her hit man genie takes out her first "wish" - the torturer somehow gets his head turned all the way around. One down, two to go.

2025-09-23 17:27:32 +0000 UTCI remember early on into the series, you two were debating which Lannister you hated the most and neither of you would say Joffrey. I was like, just wait brothers .....

2025-09-21 15:07:20 +0000 UTCthe tyrells have the biggest army in westeros (which is why renly's numbers were so large with them), not just money. this is because their kingdom (the reach) is the most populated due to having the best farmlands iirc. renly didnt offer robb "independence", he said robb could keep the title of king but would swear fealty to him in the same way ned did to robert, meaning king in name but still a subject of the iron throne rather than independent. the dornish ruling house of martell hold the titles of prince/princess instead of lord/lady but they are still subservient to the iron throne just as much as any region more or less. ser rodrick cassel is the master at arms at winterfell. he was cat's companion when she kidnapped tyrion, and has just gone to fight theon's attack. hes quite recognisable because he has his hair weirdly tied under his neck like a beard. "ive never found theon likeable" me neither, from the very first impression: in the books, he kicks the deserters severed head like a football after ned beheads him.

2025-09-21 00:29:08 +0000 UTCyou seem confused about who ser illyn payne (from arya's list) is. hes the royal executioner, you've noted a couple of times about how he has no tongue (it was removed by the mad king when illyn made a comment about how hand tywin was the one really running the realm). arya wants revenge on him because he killed ned. the payne family are servants of the lannisters. you've met podrick payne already too, hes tyrion's squire (janos slynt complained about him spilling wine), and you'll see more of him.

2025-09-20 22:17:47 +0000 UTCGhost Baby, with maybe a minute of screen time, kills a major character and implicates two others...still not as hated as Joffrey. RIP Ghost Baby

2025-09-20 15:21:24 +0000 UTCThe group of rangers beyond the wall who returned (the scene where they blew the horn) is another ranger party that's been out much longer than the main crew, led by Quran Halfhand (that's the name you are thinking of). The group talked to him in the next scene, and Jon Snow left with him. He's the guy who was explaining how the wildlings have assembled into an army. Quran has been mentioned in dialogue before, for example they talked about him back at Craster's, but it's the first time he appears on screen. He's known as a really tough fighter. Also Benjen wasn't there

2025-09-20 07:09:51 +0000 UTCDracarys is not the name of the dragon. Dracarys is a Valyrian word and it is the command given to dragons to breathe fire (We see the little dragon struggling to make his flame come out at first). The name of that particular dragon is Drogon (named after Khal Drogo and he is black-scaled). The other two dragons are named Viserion (gold-scales), and Rhaegal (green-scaled). Viserion and Rhaegal are named after Dany's two brothers.

2025-09-20 01:59:21 +0000 UTCFor someone like me, that has watched the show enough times to maybe recite some of the dialog from memory, your outros are always the most interesting part of the reaction. Keep those up! Some of your theories are pretty good, others are hilarious, but some are just CRAZY!!! Just feel the need to clarify - in Harrenhal, we are following Arya. Gendry just happens to be around her at this time. He is a somewhat significant side character, but still, just that, a side character. He is a bastard son of Robert Baratheon, so that alone makes him significant, but I am not sure where you guys got the idea that he is also Cersei's son??? The baby that died??? Why would either of them - Robert or Cersei - get rid of him then??? He would have been the heir to the throne!!! So what?, Robert didn't want an heir??? Cersei didn't love that her baby had black hair??? So they put him in a basket and threw him on the Blackwater??? WHY??? LOL
