Monthly Update - September!

September! My second month of Blender training and also my most hectic month yet, thanks to my real-life job.

My IRL Job has been eating up an extraordinary amount of my time these past few months, and it’s been soul-sucking to say the least. At times, I'm surprised I'm able to output as much content as I manage to while juggling everything, but this month really tested me and made me reflect.

At this point, I see myself as more of a 'variety artist'. Between renders, comics like Diminishing Devil, animations, cosplays, and the current Blender training arc;  I’ve got so many projects I take great joy in, but find myself strapped for time to complete them all done. After a long day of report writing and workplace politics, sometimes all I want to do is KO. So I’ve come to accept that I can’t do everything at once, and to this effort, I’ll be running a content calibration poll soon to focus on what you all want to see most.

I’ve been contemplating resigning from my job to pursue content creation full-time, but I don't think I'm at the point yet where I can fully sustain myself through art alone. I’m also saving for some big things, like a new PC at the end of the year to upgrade my Blender rendering, so for now I’ll have to keep grinding both sides. That said, my long-term goal is definitely to make art my main career and bring all my ideas to life and I do hope it isn't a pipedream.

But above all, it’s this community and your constant support that keeps me going when things get tough. I’ll keep pushing forward and doing my best to keep you all H & H🍆💖

I can relate to IRL job being tiring. I've been doing my job for 14 years now and sometimes it grows very dull, plus it takes a lot of my potential free time to do some stuff I'd like to share with others. The important thing is to focus on the one thing that matters to you the most at the moment. Once you're finished with it, move on to the next. That's my advice.
