I really hope they have a season two. If you thought season one was awesome, you need to check out the source material. It only gets better.

This was some unexpectedly high quality wholesome trash and I will be back if there is more of it.

I hate to break it to you. But this didn't even fully cover the events of volume 1. There was supposed to be a scene where the golden box Goaz had was explained.

It's almost verbatim Azimov's Three Laws of Robotics. I'm surprised it doesn't appear more often in sci-fi. The last time I saw it, I think it was I, Robot, starring Will Smith. However, this was an interesting twist on how a robot naturally interprets danger and harm, inevitably stumbling upon the concept of relative harm and greater good. It also showed how, as a human, Liam can coerce determination by controlling the context. Honestly, it's kinda freaky. We seek a way to simplify our thinking by creating easy-to-follow rules, and then we apply the same approach to our robots. However, we often become frustrated when the robots inevitably encounter weaknesses in the rules, such as ambiguity, paradox, and differing perspectives. Unaided, it's essentially a coin toss. We're the generation that may one day have to design a test for machine sentience, which is still somewhat arrogant, since we're essentially defining sentience in the process.

Damn am I going to miss this as well, I hope there's a season 2!
