She would take him out to eat etc. To be honest that is sibling behavior you do when you feel kinda bad for your little bro. That is why she is happy to see him doing well with yamada and generally socializing more. Hence why she dropped the little dog charm. She no longer has to be his social life.

They're super similar in ways, yes! I think this season was trying to show us the opposites, but I have a sneaking suspicion that next season we'll see their similarities in full display :' )

I Kana is such a great sister character, too. She definitely looks after Kyo and cares about him a lot. I felt that "Oh fuck" in my soul when she thanked Anna for being his friend. I agree with you that Kyo and Anna attract by virtues of being opposites, but they're definitely similar in ways. We'll see more of that in S2. January can't come soon enough. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for being vulnerable with us, cause I can tell you brought a lot of real emotions to this. See yah in S2.

I'm glad this didn't end with a confession because I believe that Ichikawa needs to overcome his inferiority complex and learn to love himself first before he can have a healthy romantic relationship with Yamada and I'm glad that Yamada gives him the confidence to achieve that. They are the cutest and they are meant for each other. Can't wait for season 2 next month.
