He carry that guilt all the time especially now that he's friend with a victim of the act. Also if you reach a certain amount of money in your bank account, they will start to call and try to scam you. I get those call too now after I started working a good job. Back when I had barely money, I've never received those kinda call. Pretty sure people at the bank sell our information to the scammers. It is what it is.

Einar already said that the group that pillaged his village for the first time was The English army. Thorfinn's dream sequence was just his guilt. Einar's child form is like a representation of the innocent people that he slaughtered back when he was a pirate. Also, Thor was a prevalent name in that region way back then. So people have many variations of the name Thor. Thorfinn's and the Ketil's family has no connections and many people are blonde in that region.
