I feel so much sadness for Arnheid to be honest, she must be in so much pain seeing her past literally turn up in front of her, she's faced with the biggest reminder of her trauma but also a weird mix of love and fear. I'm sure she still loves him, but she's also resentful. I was also so touched by Einar's like altruism in that moment, no matter how much he likes her, he wanted to fight for her to be free with her husband...
I just feel like the analogy of the storm is very fitting. It feels like war and greed is a storm but then people get so absorbed by it that they become it themselves, losing themselves in it fully. Kind of like how Thorfinn became the storm as a result of revenge. It's just dark to see, that no matter the choice, the outcome is morbidly grim.

Snake calls him Gramps because he's very close to the old master and also that's how it is in Asia where people call Auntie/Uncle or Gramps to older people even though they're not related at all.
