I love the obviously flowed Oushi to push us towards Itsuomi. So devious

He wants her to stay in a safe place and not take chances. But that is also the easiest way for him. The least bother. On the other hand Itsuomi leads her into a bigger world but protects her when something comes at her there. Like crazy little mopeds. The point is that he doesn't try to protect her by making it easier for himself and holding her back. He encourages her to move forward and goes with her, putting in the effort to give her the help she needs to overcome the limitations her disability places on her. He expands her world rather than limiting it.

2024-02-23 16:48:04 +0000 UTCi love that during the silence at 6:58 you can cLEARLY hear the foreigners speaking english WAY louder than everyone else. They're probably Fellow Americans Tbh I actually find the accents of the foreigners in the japanese dub surprisingly believable, at least for the women. The guy voice actors clearly still show their japanese accents, though I guess you could assume they're also japanese students like Itsuomi. then again, I'm comparing this to anime that feature one-off foreigner characters as comedic punchlines and don't even bother getting the voice actor to fake an accent LOL but even considering that, the cadence of their speech just sounds more natural than what i'm used to getting
