Also, like i know he means well but he deffo needs to get some emotional intelligence so that he can stop hurting others since he doesn't mean to clearly.

That wasn't a problem. 6 months later i was in college and she was still in high school. It is weird seeing the guy younger in an anime though. Marin was 15 in My Dress up Darling living alone. I am not sure if that's a popular thing in real life in Japan, but it seems to happen in a lot in rom-com anime

Thought you were talking bad about my fav. I remember watching this show up to this point when it came out and didn't watch any further cause it wasn't hitting. Might watch the rest along side you to see if i change my mind.
