I just - i really wanna start understanding how the cursed witch is cursing Subaru and why the fuck he cant share anything about it. I'm just so concerned about him and his mental state now because he's gone full manic in a way that severely stresses me out. Yes, you're weak, but are you just going to keep training for those 2 days, redoing it so you can get stronger over and over? like what is going on?

2024-02-19 18:00:08 +0000 UTCThe current episodes are supposed to be dark. What the author and the anime is depicting here is Subaru at his worst as a person. He's not okay and you are not meant to be okay with how he's currently acting. He was written that way on purpose. As for what Old Man Wilhelm meant about Subaru abandoning the path to get stronger, he said that because he could tell Subaru had decided to die. While we know Subaru can come back, Wilhelm just sees a kid who is wasting his time and has given up on living. The KKK as you put it, is the Cult that worships the Witch. As for what happened with the circle and bowing and why they murdered everyone, that will be explained later. As for the Crusch and Felix thing about Subaru being their enemy. The contract to heal Subaru was made before the Royal Selection began. Therefore, Crusch is honoring it in good faith. But, once Subaru leaves, he will be part of a rival candidate's camp and the candidate's are actively competing now. Poison, assassination, and anything else is now a viable option to remove your fellow candidates from the competition and Crusch is very aware of this. She doesn't have the leeway to be nice to her opponents. To be fair though, Crusch was trying to help him in her own way before he gets himself killed. Everyone being racist towards Emilia is partly because her very existence is regarded as a bad omen because of Satella, but it's also common knowledge to the people of Re:Zero that where someone like Emilia exists, the Cult (KKK) will inevitably come for that person and you've just seen what happens when they do show up. I should also mention, since this isn't mentioned in the anime, Emilia was using magic in the first arc that stopped people from realizing what she was and only left a vague impression of her in their memories. It's why people weren't throwing insults and rocks at her in the early episodes when she was walking around the capital and why Appa man doesn't know who she was even though Emilia brought his daughter back. Emilia's hooded white cloak that she wears in public has a stronger version of the same enchantment. Only people that already know it's her under the cloak or have certain abilities can see through the enchantment.
