Since there's no more Frieren episodes and you want something more to fill the void. I'd recommend watching the official animated music video for the first OP by YOASOBI. It's a beautifully animated music video mainly centred around Frieren and Himmel and shows a bunch of cute stuff like them sleeping next to each other, Himmel taking her hand and Frieren blowing him a kiss. Also if you watch a lyrics video, you'll see that the entire song is from Frieren's perspective and it's basically a love letter to Himmel.

There’s been a few shows lately that have made me feel this way but this one hit hard. This show felt like it had a message for everyone no matter what walk of life, there was always something to learn or something to relate to. Hopefully we get a season 2 soon. Fun fact the director for Frieren is Keiichirou Saitou, he was also the director for Bocchi The Rock. Hopefully he comes back to direct both second seasons.

2024-03-24 03:34:49 +0000 UTCImo, Wirbels parting words to frieren can almost be interpreted as a reference to the quote "Every man has two deaths, when he is buried in the ground and the last time someone says his name." Given Frierens lifespan, there may come a day she'll be around for Himmels "second death" and it may prove difficult for Frieren to bear a second time unless she learns to treasure her loved ones now(?).

Because Serie and Frieren are both old as fuck, but look like young teens. But an elf like Kraft looks like a grown man, despite being the same race. Especially since Serie is especially extremely extremely old.

I have a friend who is the exact same with stories like this. I dont get why some people just cant accept that everyone reacts differently to stuff like this.

2024-03-23 08:11:54 +0000 UTCI've watched this EP with a smile on my face, happy for such a great conclusion to the season but the last scene broke me without warning, I was literally sobbing. Himmel saying "it would be embarrasing if we ever meet again" WAS DIRECTED AT FRIEREN ALL THIS TIME! He knew she'll come looking for him in Heaven! Plus that visual of him walking away... same as the one during his funeral in ep1. Overall, a masterpiece of a show and hilarious and amazing reaction :D Keep up the good work!
