I love how Lakan said "Younger or older brother shouldn't matter. Those with talent should receive attention" to *Jinshi*, and you immediately jumped to defending Maomao. Iirc, Lakan hasn't done anything so far except give off creep vibes, but you were still 100% ready to put him 6ft under for the crime of even thinking about our girl! Kinda fair tbh, the man's aura is basically just a miasma of ick. Gonna make you president of the Maomao Protection Squad (Jinshi is very jealous and has plans to steal your position). I thought you'd connect Lakan's comment to previously mentioned theories about Jinshi's potential relationship to the emperor (I need official confirmation about that in the anime ASAP). No judgement tho, it's a tad subtle since they WERE just talking about the three brothers' inheritance. If the theory about Jinshi is true, then maybe Lakan was trying to make a point by giving him that case? Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the season, and I hope you react to season 2 sometime after it drops on January 10th!

2024-04-08 14:08:37 +0000 UTCI mean the original is focused on Jin-woo. Every other character is basically an accessory to him. I didn't mind the additional scenes, nice to see people not revolve around the MC.

Bro just said the moral of the three brothers thing and Faroh's instinctual response is "poison him", and honestly that's basically how i was every time he was onscreen my first time watching LOL that's good character writing there

2024-04-06 23:42:53 +0000 UTCSolo Levelng made the mistake to add a lot of anime original scenes and even splice them into the action scenes to break them up. Like all those small scenes with those side characters from the guilds and such do not exist in the source material. Its way more focused on just the action.

2024-04-06 21:59:10 +0000 UTCIt goes by so fast because it's so good. It's the opposite for me with Solo leveling. I have to fast forward through some episodes . I don't hate it but it's soething I won't miss when the season ends
