About the knife Subaru looked at, it's not in the anime but in the novel Subaru used the knife to try resetting again but it didn't work. When you watched the Bunny Girl Senpai movie you said "this was made by satan himself", I think that's more applicable to Re:Zero lol

In Emilia's case, he simply doesn't want to show his weak side to the woman he loves. He only wants to show her the him that is his best. This is non-spoiler extra information for the Witch's Cult. There are only five Sin Archbishops. As we know from season one, the seat of Pride is currently vacant. The seat of Envy is Satella herself, so there is no Archbishop of Envy. To be clear, though, Satella herself is an object of worship and not a member of the Cult, which you can kind of tell from her interaction with Petelgeuse at the end of season one when he was inside Subaru.
