Added 2024-04-28 22:12:57 +0000 UTCImma be so fr rn, this show is honestly painstaking- like who ever suggested this, you're on my shit list fr. It's such a beautiful show but its just so painful. Fido deserved better than a painful end like that, but then again, it was inevitable. Also, something is so eerie about Shin being so happy go lucky all of a sudden, kind of like he's lost it all so theres no burden he's carrying anymore, but in that same vain, its also like he has nothing to live for.

It's dark as hell but tells such a good story, plus seeing you empathize with everyone and with your own experiences with war make these reactions unique and refreshing. Take care.

Beautiful series, one of my favorites, but it is emotionally rough to watch at parts even on a rewatch. 86 is one of those series that gave me a mild trauma while watching it the first time. Even when things are going good for everyone, there was always this voice in the back of my head going, "Things are going too good. When is the other shoe going to drop and the happiness gets stolen away?"
