2024-05-17 16:05:49 +0000 UTCThe red in Lena's hair is colored red to remind herself of the blood of every 86 (including Shin and the others of Spearhead squadron) that has died under her command. To not forget the lives that were lost or the weight they should have. As you guessed, it's also a huge fuck you to the entire Republic of San Magnolia and their elitist pure blood attitude by putting "color" in her pure silver hair. As for why Lena is called Queen is because she has gained the moniker of the Bloody Regina, "Queen of the 86". She basically informally leads the 86 now and is made fun of by the other Alba for doing so.

2024-05-04 18:00:36 +0000 UTCIt's presented in a kind of oniric way, but the "armor" that Rei wears in Shin's dream is the legion he was using to save them and take them to the Federacy, away from the rest of the Legion. You can see that the legion destroyed when the dream ends is the same that is seen by Ernst and the military when they are discussing what to do with Shin and the others. At the end, he saved his brother and their friends.

Also, they sadly skipped some important stuff fron the light novel here, it was actually Rei who saved Shin and the others. At the part where Ernst talks to his staff they said they found them inside a old Legion model a "Dinosaurier". That was actually Rei whose remaining consience had followed them and resuced them from the Legion attack at the end of episode 11. He then with his last strength carried them to territory controlled by the Federacy. Thats why Shin had those visions talking to his brother. Sadly they skipped nearly all of that for the anime because of time constraints since cour 2 had to adapt 2 books instead of one.
