hey correction - Subaru didnt say he knew satella for a long time, he said that "he knew for a long time that his power is that of a witch", hopefully that clears up the confusion on that part.

This is Satella punishing Subaru for talking to Echidna about return by death and spilling all the beans. I would say instead of gluttony, Subaru's desire to save everyone while losing nothing would be greed. Good on you for noticing the pattern in Beako's eyes matching Echidna's symbolism. A lot of reactors miss that detail despite the close up of her eye and the butterflies everywhere from Echidna or the fact that Echidna wears a butterfly hair pin.
