It’s nice to see a reactor who actually goes back in the episode if they don’t understand or think they misheard/misread something, it seems like most reactors never do that.

2024-05-16 06:02:46 +0000 UTCWhile I do agree that the federacy is hypocritical at times, I don't think Grethe was during that scene, since Shin and them had the option to join, and did so with the blessing of Ernst, the president of the federacy. So they had agency in making the choice of joining the military. However, since it's brought about by the experiences they've had throughout their lives so far, it gets a bit sketchy.
