We need Mitsuri to be there too cause I need to see this boy melt HAHAHAHHA. Any who, Genya's brother is gross. I don't care if there's a reason for his behaviour right now, his insane violence towards Genya is literally unacceptable imo.

You gotta remember in their backstory in s3 genya literally called sanemi a murderer after he saved him from being attacked by his mother who turned into a demon He didn’t need to go that far tho

And the act of consuming demons could be see as demonic in itself with Genya performing the same behaviours they do. Which feels like an insult to him. BUT. You are completely right in your belief on the whole blinding thing. That was absolutely not defendable. Punching him, sure, but trying to blind him is not justifiable. Anyways, sorry for the long reply.

2024-06-09 20:33:21 +0000 UTCPersonally my view on Sanemi’s disdain for Tanjiro might come from the fact that when his family member turned into a demon, he was forced to kill her. So seeing Tanjiro keep Nezuko alive and continue living with her probably does get to him a bit.
