The thing with Ryuzu and Echidna's voice was a nod to content that was cut from the end of season 2 that explains the ultimate fate of Echidna and the other Witches now that the spell which maintained the Sanctuary and it's barrier was removed by Emilia in the previous episode.

2024-07-01 21:05:22 +0000 UTCSubaru has seemingly always had a way with words even from the start of the show, just that early on he was too immature and wasted it on jokes and projections, while now he's finally grown enough to put it to good use ^^ Not sure if you noticed btw, but one of the Ryuzu's was thinking internally in Echidnas voice, no idea what that means though.
