But honestly, we love a pool episode. it's so cute how Tadano and Osana always have Komi's back. Osana may not always understand what Komi wants to say, but they makeup for what tadano lacks, which is the social awareness to handle certain situations. ;^ ; i love them.

That was never a wish for the ability, but rather a mental note to use it. Its a very easy mistake to make, so I wouldn't normally stress to explain this point, but it seems to keep on causing you misunderstandings when you are interpreting his character. There are a lot of gags about Tadano being a mind reader in the future episodes. This gag really upped the enjoyment I got from the show, so I hope you find it as fun as I do going forward!

He's the only one who seems to understand what's on other people almost as if he has telepathic powers. That doesn't mean he knows what to do about it. Navigation of social situations is Najimi's forte. He knows exactly how disdainful the class is towards him for sitting next to Komi. He knew, back in episode 3, how rude the classmates thoughts were towards him when he asked to join them to support Komi. Tadano, in this episode, as the only one to react to the guys "100 million points" and when Yamai started having weird thoughts, Tadano is the one who went "!?". Tadano is the one who always notices Yadano Makeru's one-sided rivalry with Komi. If you look for it, you will see that Tadano is the only one to react to the other classmates' weird thoughts that have never been said aloud, usually with a "!?".
