Reviews, Comments, etc. Their stated reason is it's to "protect the anime community by creating a safe and repsectful environment for our users by curbing the spread of misinformation and negative harassment from users". The real reason seems to be that shows weren't getting the view numbers they wanted because new people weren't watching them when they saw a ton of negative comments. Apparently some of their shows have also been review bombed as well that kept view numbers down. But Crunchyroll has also been accused of doing positive review bombing on shows that they spent a lot of money advertising when they didn't take off like they wanted in the past among other things. The correct answer would have been hiring a moderation staff for comments instead of what they are doing. Why they didn't already have a moderation staff is also being called into question now.

Also Lawrence must feel awful carrying that knowledge about Yoitsu with him. How would you even open up that topic to Holo?
