6:25 Very much no. The people who usually mediate between an author and a screenwriter exist because they are necessary. Like the dude worried about, throwing two imaginative, passionate people in a room and say, “Make this,” the results could be truly insane and disasterous. This anime just shows a mystical “And everyone was happy” version. GOA and Abiko could have ended up hating everything the other said, leading to absolutely failure. Or, they could have gone the other extreme and demanded the impossible from the actors and audience.

2025-06-27 01:09:09 +0000 UTCThere are some people in the fandom who really don’t like how almost supernaturally insightful Akane is, but to me it makes me feel like she’s the only character that’s in the same kind of genius tier as a Kaguya or Miyuki. It’s just how Aka writes genius characters.

2024-07-24 23:34:41 +0000 UTCThey did a pretty good job with Aqua's breakdown, personally I'm pretty pleased with it. This arc cemented him as my favourite character in the manga. It's why I'm a supporter of the only true ONK ship, Aqua x Therapy.

2024-07-24 17:36:44 +0000 UTCAkane is indeed scary sometimes. This is why she's the best, she has so many interesting angles and depth to her character, this is why she's my fav girl. Aqua's Trauma crossing with the Play and his relationship with Akane is so interesting and what made this my fav arc, and we aren't even half way through yet... plenty of "fun" to be had still
