2024-08-29 05:43:39 +0000 UTCI was actually warned about how pervy this episode would be by a novel reader after the preview for it came out. Apparently, the chapter the hypnosis was in is one of the less liked chapters in the novels. I'm told the novel version was a fair bit worse and the anime toned down a lot of the pervy content adapted in this episode.

2024-08-29 02:45:27 +0000 UTCThey managed to make the hypnosis scene way less cringe without skipping it, honestly good job direction!

2024-08-28 20:39:48 +0000 UTCWhile Yuki’s behaviour might seem bizarre, I can still see where it comes from. Living in a place where her life is effectively someone else’s, she acts this way to put a kind of emotional distance between herself and that life. It’s why a lot of people act out or behave strangely. I see it as a sign of desperation to not be what she’s expected to be by having a part of herself be as far removed from it as possible and the more desperate she is, the more she acts out.
