2024-09-04 17:07:28 +0000 UTCIt's easy to miss or rather distrust the character exposition we get since Kabru was being super sus while explaning himself, but going back to 2 episodes ago when you likened Laios to a food buff and Kabru to a history buff, I think it's more accurate to say that in the same way Laios is a monster fanatic Kabru is a people fanatic. Just how like Laios obsesses over monster behaviour, ecology, appearance and even taste, Kabru obsesses over people and their motivations, interpersonal relations, character, past and future etc. So things being worse than he thought means that the drama is even juicier than the simple jewelry theft he at first thought it was ^^
