Faroh, nice catch. Now, I’m a sucker for real-deal dangerous drama and suspense, so I didn’t even consider the story of a death by wheat to be false. A great bit of story telling, but I was all sorts of ready for violence and carnage. Lolz

2025-07-07 04:58:42 +0000 UTC17:20 Upon seeing Holo’s mini breakdown about “couples” here, I am fully reminded that this is my favorite arc I’ve ever known of in Spice & Wolf. My one most dire complaint about the ‘08 version is the removal of this part. Sure, the end of that version is pretty damn good and fun, I relate HARD to this arc and the lovebirds’ experiences here. I must admit, I’ve binged this playlist solely to get here, despite loving every video so far as well.

2024-09-05 16:47:30 +0000 UTCElsa is one of my favorite characters in the series! It's great that a person of faith is for once not the villain but benevolent, altough she's a bit stern. Her faith being shaken by the sight of Holo is an interesting rabbit hole for discussion. The dents in the floor are from Father Franz praying there day for day. Holo actually enforcing couple behaviour for others to witness was adorable. They really (Lawrence more than Holo) have to get used to just be more of an openly romantic couple in public. It's also fun how Lawrence and Holo thought of two different things when the "envy" considering Elsa and Evan came up. They drive just on a different "vibe" then Lawrence and Holo! Lawrence's thoughtprocess is a bit more concerning though. What will they do afterwards IF they find Yoitsu?
