Shuro's lack of ability to kind of see how Laios is serious about this slightly annoys me, but i can also understand it. I just get upset at the idea that he thinks he cares more for her than her own brother for God's sake. ALSO, i cant tell if Falin was a little cognizant in that moment or if the dragon's soul used her memories to catch Laios off guard hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't think Shuro thinks Laios is too carefree. Its just that its hard for us to appreciate how ingrained the taboo against Black Magic would be in this world and what it would mean to violate that, even to resurrect a family member or perhpas especially because of. It might be one thing if everything went as planned. But explicitly because of the black magic Falin was able to become the chimera beast. I get the vibes of, do anything for a sibling in an emergency, but you should probably draw the line at crimes against humanity or whatever.
