8:45 Damn. Nicely done. I spent so long thinking that the stars in their eyes had to do with “star factor,” like a fate to be impactful or some crap. Hearing you come to the “liar” idea is very cool. Regardless, I think the mangaka’s use of those ephemeral “stars” was hella clever. Plenty of these characters are important, but a star says, “Watch me. I might do a trick!” Witty way to point of characters in a manga/anime.

2024-09-13 13:38:21 +0000 UTChimekawa said it happened when he was 5 or so and he is 20 years old today so 15 years ago Ai had aqua and ruby at 16 and died at 20 so aqua would be 4 when she died and aqua is 17 today so if himekawa was right aqua's dad would have died when he was 2 years old or so which cant be right cause in the first episode of the series Ai was talking to him in a phonebooth shortly before she died

2024-09-12 14:17:38 +0000 UTCI actually used to do theatre, and I was a theatre major before life happened. So this season has really hit home (I could resonate with parts of Melt, Kana, and Akane, and even Aqua). Anyway, like you were talking about cooking, singing, and the immediate gratification, it reminded me of how nothing made me as happy hearing audience reactions during our shows. Whether it was laughter, cheers, gaps, or sniffles. :)

2024-09-11 21:01:26 +0000 UTCConsidering Aqua and Ruby's father got someone else to commit murder I wouldn't put it past him to murder them both and pass it off as a double suicide. I think you're right his mom probably cheated and he just tied up loose ends before they became a problem.
