Added 2024-09-20 11:00:04 +0000 UTCoh ho ho, its starting to get sad. Its starting to get real sad, i actually had to stop myself from crying at the end there what the hell. I feel so bad for Hachi because he really is so insecure about himself, and so used to getting the wrong idea that he immediately attributes anything nice someone does for him as a "mandatory" thing. So when there's a reason for Yui to be nice to him that explains her kindness away, he's a bit heartbroken... I really think she has feelings for him to be honest, and I hate that he sold himself short in both the reason for her being nice to him and the reason for him saving the dog. He's a good guy and I wish he would see that.

2024-09-21 07:48:49 +0000 UTCHikigaya just can't seem to comprehend that someone might treat him well because they like him (and I don't mean that in just the romantic sense). The range of feelings that he expects others to have towards him is between indifference and disgust. To him, the notion that someone might like him is as unbelievable as the fact that the Earth is round is unbelievable to Flat-Earthers. You could debunk their beliefs as mistaken a million times, and they still wouldn't budge.
