Ravens aren't just death birds. They are also often the eyes of god. Odin for example used ravens to be his eyes. I don't really see the ravens here as representing death at all but as the eyes of the girl, which is most likely a shrine god.

Some fans can get kind of pissy if you get that distinction wrong as a streamer. I've seen it happen with other reactors reacting to multiple other series.
