Its pissing me off how he's being hated for this cause he honestly truly deserves better. its just breaking my heart... And what does Yuki mean theyre not friends, YOURE CLEARLY FRIENDS

2024-10-13 22:18:14 +0000 UTCI really like Hayato here, he is not dumb he knew what Sagami was doing, but unlike Hachi he was willing to say what she wanted to hear so everyone can be happy. He got mad at Hachi not because he cared about sagami but because he cares about hachi .That been said, it also exposes a rather manipulative side of Hayato where he is can lie as long as people do what he wants and 'everyone is happy' in some ways he is really similar to Hachiman. Its also interesting how Hachi hates changing but its the one who pushes changes the most, he could have not say anything and let Sagami stay the same but instead he confronted her and made her see her failures opening the door for change. He says that Yuki has always been like that, but he is wrong, Yuki is able to trust herself more thanks to Hachiman and Yui that support her.

2024-10-12 18:25:59 +0000 UTCThe problem with Hachiman is that he's absolutely terrified of the one thing he desperately seems to want: genuine bonds. That's why he keeps doing these social "suicides", like playing the scummy villain in the festival planning committee earlier, and in the confrontation with Sagami in this episode. There seems to be 2 reasons behind them: firstly, to convince himself that he never cared about the bonds anyway, and secondly, to destroy any bond before it may be ripped from him. With everything he's gone through so far, I don't think he can mentally survive another bond being ripped from him, so he tries to destroy them before that can happen. Then he goes "See? I knew no one would want to share a bond with me. Not that I care, anyway.".

You could be right, but if the person that’s wrong is more popular than you, it’ll end up looking bad on you anyways. They could’ve solved it without Hachi taking the heat. Had they nipped it in the bud in the classroom, they’d wouldn’t be here.
