I think it'll make it more palatable for the general audience but I did prefer the original style I think, simply because it really felt authentic to their characters. Anyways, it feels like Hachi might be leaning towards Yuki [Saika omitted for this lol] because of the way he was just shy about it. Idk? but he seems to be thinking about how things come off a lot with Yui vs, having to be shown that with Yuki. Idk how to interpret that if I'm honest...

2024-10-22 02:45:16 +0000 UTCThere is some stuff that I loved about this change of artstyle when this season came out, but there is other stuff that I missed from the old artstyle (Hachiman's desing for example). At the end I like both tho. Also, the old artstyle looks more like the illustrations from the light novels, maybe that's why you feel that the previous desings were more true to their characters.

2024-10-20 19:53:33 +0000 UTCFor me this different artstyle makes it easier to read emotions, body languages and other stuff like that so I remember being very happy about this change because damn I needed all the possible help to get a correct read of what the characters are really thinking. Also damn all those problem kids #teamsensei
