Oregairu S2 EP 4
Added 2024-10-28 11:00:08 +0000 UTCah well- this one was painful, Albeit, Im super happy that hayato was actually able to let his mask slip a bit, but in a weird way he did what hachi would normally do, and he hated it haha. He's kind of trying to push Hachi towards growth which honestly warmed my heart. It made me happy. It just feels like everyone in this anime puts out an intense front and won't be honest. Even Yuki and Yui... I wonder what Yuki's intention behind going for student council is. It almost feels like Yui is also trying to make it a Yui vs Yuki showdown for Hachi weirdly... am i wrong?

Hachi is very good example of social anxiety which Yukino’s sister picks up on. He’s been burned so many times that he’s subconsciously rationalized that his role is to be the sacrifice which makes him feel comfortable. People telling him to change and he’s wrong is the same as telling him to accept everything he’s been avoiding

I feel sad on dialogues that didn't make me sad before and I get excited to see moments that made me anxious before (And more because I watched it when S2 released lol) If I can describe watching Oregairu for the first time it would be: uncertainty. It made me question and doubt some things as a teen and where I was heading towards with my life. Great show and the novels really expand the experience a lot.

Though at some point; most of the time; the show will end up puting the answers straight in front of you to make you understand if you didn't manage with the clues you got. To maybe get a better idea of what Hayato is saying, in season 1 it was told that him and Yukino were at the same school before (don't know precisely how many years ago) and their family know eachother, that's also why Haruno has his number I presume. For some clarification, "Meguri" is actualy Shiromeguri, the girl who asked the service club to help with the sport event in the last episode of season 1 and she made other appearances discussing school council stuff. Iroha is not Tobe sister. I also feel sad, we are in the pain train at the moment :(, great reaction can't wait for more

2024-10-28 20:42:13 +0000 UTCIn the OG sub. As far as I can remember, Haruno calls Hikki a 'monster of reason' which is one of the reasons she finds him interesting. Hayato gave them a good chance before passing judgment. Mean vapid kids need a little reality check
