this scene will forever be one of my favorite scenes in anime. what scares ryuen isnt ayanokojis intellect, his physical ability, his ruthlessness in dealing with him and his bodyguards, or anything like that. what finally manages to scare ryuen is ayanokojis emotionlessness. cinema

It's to help Kei personally but also in the end in his own interest. He's like a good therapist with evil (but depending on the angle it's not) methods I guess.
