I think I'm in for a ride because shows like this are my actual favourites. Don't get me wrong, I love love love romance animes, but they don't mess with my brain the same way shows like this do. I also kept thinking about Thors' sword, and if it was special in anyway, but looking back after I edited it, I don't think it is... >_>

2023-09-24 00:28:10 +0000 UTCoh this is gonna be goood edit: the story of Harald uniting Norway as it's first king is based on the true events that happened (I'm Norwegian) as is most of the historical events that take place in the show (altho despite Harald being the real name of the first king of Norway and the story being accurate alot of names and characters are made up or stories are somewhat changed/based on legends/sagas)

2023-08-27 09:02:13 +0000 UTCAh Vinland Saga....this damn series caused me to read wikipedia articles about early medieval kings for far longer than I like to admit....I may or may not also have a bought a danish axe..... I like that they blend historical tidbits with an interesting story, although it does hurt that a japanese anime does a better job with that time period and area than most live action ever will. You'll gonna enjoy this one, issa good story.
