idk, i felt Mai's pain very strongly and I just knew how much it would have hurt to see that she wasn't the person he opened up to about his pain and struggles.

I’m the odd one out because everyone says the same thing about birthdays. You’re required to know the date by heart or you become the bad guy, but if that information is never revealed to you how do know? Perhaps it’s my unwillingness to enter other people’s lives, but I just never understood that. Being forced to apologize because you’re not omnipotent seems kind of unfair.

It’s nice that she’s back but I guess he just felt all his hard work payed off but in the end he lost the new kae that he raised himself after his parents left him to deal with her. If you think about it, having to get a job paying rent buying food and groceries. All of this for her and now loosing her. It was a lot of emotions he was feeling. All this clicked to me as soon as it happened.Here I am crying again. This show was great
