2025-02-17 09:57:21 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite anime! At 56.00, you talk about inspiring anime that features girls supporting each other. Almost all you mention were written by the same person! Jukki Hanada wrote Girls Band Cry, K-ON!, and A Place Further Than the Universe (though not Bocchi the Rock - its success is often attributed to Keichiro Saito, his first role as director, after he then went on to direct Frieren). At this point, it basically seems like a studio hires Hanada if they just really want to be sure their script won't suck. He wrote the script for 'Medalist' this season, seems to be working out well!
