This is an anime original show. There is no source material. When this show originally aired, it wasn't even picked up by a streaming service. The only way to watch it was by sailing the seven seas and watching fansubs. About mid-season, word got around anyway and it shot up the weekly rankings into the top ten. It got so much fan support that Crunchyroll picked it up after the show ended and streamed it the following season with official subtitles. So there is a decent possibility we will get a season 2 down the road.
